Unlike traditional material aid programs, Second Harvest’s nonprofit retail model prioritizes the choice and dignity of the people we serve while also reducing waste.
Our approach not only addresses immediate needs, but also promotes a sustainable business model. We endeavor to generate regular, reliable revenue sufficient to cover the full cost of doing business, and reinvest store profits in the form of grants to local organizations serving our community.
