What’s in Store: Fresh Produce, Within Reach 🥬
At Harvest on Main Community Market, produce will be the foundation of everyday meals — the start of breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and everything in between.
With more than 30 fruits and vegetables stocked daily — from bananas and greens to peppers, potatoes, and grapes — you’ll find the kinds of ingredients that show up week after week in real kitchens. And because good produce should be easy to find and affordable to buy, our fruits and vegetables will be priced at zero margin — marked up only to cover basic packaging and food waste — so fresh food stays within reach.

📍 Opening soon at 808 Main Street in Sharpsburg

We’re growing — and our name is catching up. 🌾
What started as Second Harvest Community Thrift Store is growing into something more as we prepare to open the doors to our second nonprofit retail location at Harvest on Main Community Market.
Today, the name Second Harvest represents more than one program — it reflects the full scope of how we meet needs in our community, from the Community Thrift Store to Harvest on Main Community Market to the Community Free Fridge at Second Harvest.
That’s why you’ll notice a new name here this week. There’s no need to follow a new account — you’ll continue to find us right here. Same heart. More ways to meet needs in our community 🤎
👋 Meet Jamie (far right, while recipe testing last week!)... A familiar face behind the counter, and one of the people shaping how Harvest on Main will feel every day.
For Jamie, this market is about more than food—it’s about being welcomed, remembered, and cared for in small, meaningful ways. From knowing what’s on the shelf to knowing your name, she’s helping create a place where neighbors will feel seen.
Her story is rooted right here in Sharpsburg—and it’s a big part of what makes this market feel like it belongs to everyone.

Whether you’re stopping in for a quick lunch or planning ahead for later, Harvest on Main will make good food easy to choose.
