HOURS
The Community Free Fridge at Second Harvest is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year for neighbors to take what they need, and leave what they don’t.
While meeting material and relational needs is why we exist, neighbors like you are the how behind these critical programs.
Our free fridge runs on community generosity. Take action to help neighbors meet their food needs with dignity and anonymity.
From our community to your feed!
June is already off to a delicious start – and we’re just getting started!
This month’s menu features a mix of seasonal specials and Harvest on Main favorites, thoughtfully prepared by Chef Blakely and her team.
Take a look at what’s on the menu this month, and make plans to stop by soon ☀️
Who will you rally?
The Community Full Fridge Relay was designed for groups to participate together.
Whether it’s your coworkers, family, faith community, sports team, neighbors, or a group of friends, adopting the Community Free Fridge at Second Harvest for a week is a simple way to turn shared values into visible action.
A meaningful summer activity for families. Team-building with purpose. A chance for faith communities, clubs, and neighborhood groups to make an impact together.
During your adopted week, your group commits to stopping by at least once to help clean, stock, and care for the Community Free Fridge before passing the baton to the next team.
One group. One week. One less empty fridge.

Happy National Cheese Day!
We put together a little board with a few things you’ll find around the market right now. Starting with @belgioiosocheese cheeses, @delallofoods olives, petite pickles, breadsticks & banana peppers. Some local honey, fresh and dried fruit, almonds from @bestevergranola, pita chips from @pitas_pieces, and a spoonful of lemon curd for something sweet.
If you’re putting together a snack board, heading to a gathering, or just looking for something good to nibble on, we’ve got plenty of ingredients to mix and match.

Welcome to Check It Out with Chuck.
We’re starting a new series, where he shares some of the interesting secondhand finds that make their way through the store.
As a longtime woodworking hobbyist, he’s quick to notice the details that others might miss. This particular piece stood out for its quality craftsmanship, and a little digging helped uncover clues about its maker and the time period it came from.
That’s one of the things we love about secondhand goods—there’s always something new to learn. Next time you’re browsing, take a closer look. You never know what story a piece might have to tell.
