Second Harvest Community Thrift Store
The free fridge, freezer, and pantry are easily accessed through a separate entrance to the right of our Community Thrift Store’s front door.
Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year for neighbors to take what they need, and leave what they don’t.
We know there are many reasons why items may no longer be sellable, such as overstock, surplus production, discontinuation, or imperfect packaging – even when they are completely safe to eat. Redirect surplus product to the Community Free Fridge at Second Harvest and keep quality items out of landfills. Contact us to get started!
We’re proud to support local agriculture and provide quality, locally-sourced produce to the people we serve. By working with Second Harvest, you are increasing access to nutritious, fresh foods to our neighbors in Sharpsburg and beyond. Contact us to get started!
Giving comes in many forms – not just food. Second Harvest runs on donations of your time, quality goods, and monetary support.
Learn more about increasing the impact of your donations.
Give your time, support local families, and experience the joy of building community—side by side.
Your donated goods become dollars that are reinvested to create opportunity, increase food security, and build community.
While meeting material and relational needs is why we exist, neighbors like you are the how behind these critical programs.
From our community to your feed!
Yesterday, we opened our doors at Harvest on Main Community Market.
No ribbon cutting or fanfare — Just shelves stocked, coffee brewing, and so much gratitude for everyone who helped bring this space to life.
It means so much to finally share it with you.
Come see what we’ve been building. 💛

TOMORROW! Join us for our Grand Opening, Monday, March 2nd! 10am-6pm. 808 Main Street Sharpsburg. We can’t wait to welcome you in. Raffles and Prizes!
Meet Chris, back where he belongs ❣️
If you’ve followed Chris Condrin’s story, you know 808 Main Street once housed his uncle’s beloved bakery. Soon, the space will be filled again with neighbors and the rhythm of a working kitchen — this time led by Chris as Harvest on Main’s Prepared Foods Manager.
The meals he’s preparing aren’t just recipes. They’re family traditions — ready to heat, and made to be shared.
